Congratulations to Irene Coyle, Process Engineer at Zellstoff Celgar, Castlegar BC for winning the runner-up "PACWEST 2013 BEST PAPER AWARD" for a technical paper titled "Improving Smelt Dissolving Tank TTA Control at Zellstoff-Celgar". Co-authors are Shawn Russell, Zellstoff Celgar LLP, Vivek Rajbhandari, Mario Leclerc, Laurier Morissette, TEXO Consulting and Controls, and Bruce Allison, FPInnovations. This paper is based on successful implementation of CAUST-X, TEXO’s Advanced Process Control solutions for Recovery Boiler Smelt Dissolving tank.
